The weekend of June 7-9th, Champion’s Coaching, represented by Coach Zion Hall and our Senior swimmer, Judah Hall, went to the Nic Askew Swim Camp held at Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Howard University is the ONLY Historically Black College and University with a swim and dive team. We were blessed to be able to take advantage of the camp. Coach Zion got to shadow Coach Nic and his team, learning valuable coaching skills to bring back to our program. Judah Hall got to learn great skills that will help him in the pool. They both were able to tour campus, talk with current and past student swimmers, and meet other swimmers that look like them from across the country.

Again, a huge thanks of gratitude to Coach Nic, his staff, and all the wonderful swimmers that showed up this past weekend. It was definitely one to remember!
