What is Fin Camp?
Fin Camp is Champion’s Coaching’s introductory swim program designed to help children learn how to swim in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. The focus is on water comfort, safety, and foundational skills—not competition.
Is Fin Camp only for swimmers who already know how to swim?
Not at all. Fin Camp is specifically designed for beginners, including children who:
- Are new to swimming
- Feel nervous or hesitant around water
- Have little to no formal swim instruction
Swimmers who are already somewhat comfortable in the water are also welcome and will benefit from strengthening their fundamentals.
What if my child is afraid of the water?
This is very common—and expected. Our coaches are trained to work patiently with hesitant swimmers. We move at each child’s pace and focus first on trust, comfort, and confidence before progressing to new skills. No child is forced to do anything before they are ready.
How is safety handled during Fin Camp?
Safety is our top priority. Fin Camp includes:
